At Juniper Health & Wellness, we provide individualized services for children of all ages, either in the comfort of your home or at our specialized center. While our center is reserved for learners ages 2-5 years old, we offer in-home services for children of all ages, ensuring flexible, personalized care tailored to each child’s needs.

Our program follows a collaborative model, where parents and professionals work closely together to support the child’s development. This partnership is essential to ensuring that progress is made both at home and during our sessions.

A key focus of our program is hands-on parent training, which is not only an important component of our approach but also backed by research showing that parent involvement leads to greater and more lasting results for children. Studies consistently show that when parents are actively involved in their child’s therapeutic process, the child’s progress is more sustained over time. This is because parents are able to reinforce the skills learned in sessions, ensuring consistency and continuity of care.

We facilitate weekly parent training sessions, where parents are directly involved in learning how to implement therapeutic strategies and techniques with their child. These training sessions are interactive and hands-on, allowing parents to practice and apply what they’ve learned in real-life situations. By empowering parents with the right tools, we foster an environment where the child’s progress is supported both during and outside of our program.

Our services are provided in half-day sessions, with two time slots available:

• Morning Session: 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM
• Afternoon Session: 12:00 PM – 3:30 PM
  We require a minimum of three sessions per week to ensure steady progress and consistency in the child’s development.

Therapy is provided by Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), who implement individualized behavior plans based on each child’s needs. Each day is designed to include a balanced mix of sensory play, music, art, literacy, social skills activities, and essential routines like meal times and potty breaks. These activities are crafted to support growth, learning, and socialization in a nurturing environment.

At Juniper Health & Wellness, we offer an in-home parent training model for families across Texas, designed to provide personalized, ABA-based strategies for children of all ages. Our services cater to families who desire more involvement in their child’s therapy or those who have been on waitlists and need ABA support now.

The core of our program is parent training, which is provided in-home, either in-person or via telehealth, depending on your preference and location. Our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) work directly with caregivers to teach evidence-based ABA strategies that can be implemented immediately to promote lasting change. This hands-on approach ensures parents feel confident and empowered in managing their child’s development, both during and after therapy sessions.

Through this program, we teach parents practical strategies to:

• Learn more about Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Address unsafe behaviors such as aggression or self-harm
• Increase communication skills, including verbal, non-verbal, and alternative communication methods
• Improve daily living skills, such as dressing, feeding, and hygiene
• Enhance social interactions and peer relationships
• Promote independence in a variety of settings

Our structured program allows us to work closely with parents over a 90-day to 6-month period, offering  in-person or telehealth training sessions. These sessions are designed to be interactive and hands-on, ensuring parents can implement ABA strategies effectively in real-life situations. By empowering parents to be active participants in their child’s therapy, we ensure that progress is consistently reinforced both in and outside of the therapy setting.
