The Juniper Circle - BCBA Supervision & Mentorship

Juniper Health offers culturally grounded BCBA supervision and mentorship through The Juniper Circle—a program created to support Indigenous scholars and those serving Native communities.

Juniper Health provides comprehensive BCBA supervision designed to support candidates with applied practice while maintaining a balance between scientific integrity and real-world application.

Our supervision approach is structured yet flexible, ensuring that candidates gain meaningful, practical experience while meeting BACB supervision requirements. Rooted in respect, science, and cultural values, our supervision blends the rigor of applied behavior analysis with space for reflection, connection, and growth. We honor both clinical excellence and Indigenous ways of knowing.

  • 🪶 Group supervision held online Saturday mornings

  • 🌎 Individual virtual check-ins to meet BACB requirements

  • ✨ Mentorship from an Indigenous BCBA committed to growing Native leadership in the field

Licensed to supervise in TX, NJ, MA(Soon), WI, and able to supervise in other states that do not have licensure.

Program Format & Cost

Supervision Format

We currently offer the standard fieldwork track (5% supervision) in alignment with BACB requirements. Concentrated fieldwork is not available through The Juniper Circle, as our model prioritizes steady, sustainable growth and reflective learning over accelerated pacing.

Fieldwork Details:

  • 2,000 total hours of supervised fieldwork
  • 20–130 hours accrued per month
  • 4 contacts per month with supervising BCBA
  • Minimum of 1 direct client observation per month (with appropriate consents)
  • Supervision provided at 5% of total hours, through a mix of individual and group sessions

Tuition-Free Access

This supervision experience—valued at $375–$500+ per month—is offered at no cost through Juniper’s commitment to cultivating Indigenous leadership in behavior analysis.

In return, participants commit to paying it forward—by serving Indigenous communities or mentoring future BCBAs when the time comes.

Spaces are limited, and we work exclusively with serious, purpose-driven candidates.

Why Choose the Juniper Circle?

Structured & Aligned:
Our supervision follows a thoughtfully designed curriculum aligned with BACB supervision requirements and task lists—ensuring every hour supports meaningful, ethical, and culturally grounded practice.

Real-World Focus:
Unrestricted hour assignments help you build practical, adaptable tools you can carry into your career, including:

  • Parent and caregiver training materials
  • Staff development tools rooted in lived experience
  • Community-centered applications for schools, homes, and clinics

Reflective & Rooted:
We emphasize self-assessment, self-reflection, and critical thinking about ethics, cultural humility, and your evolving role as a practitioner. You’ll leave supervision not just more prepared—but more self-aware, connected, and aligned with your purpose.

Supervision Style:

  • Rooted in science, delivered with care
  • Relaxed but rigorous—space to breathe, structure to grow
  • Realistic about the challenges of professional practice in real-world settings
  • Committed to your growth, grounded in Indigenous values and high ethical standards

Offered at No Cost — With a Commitment to Give Back:
Supervision is offered at no cost by Juniper as part of our ongoing commitment to supporting Indigenous leadership in behavior analysis. In return, we ask that participants commit to paying it forward—by serving Indigenous communities or mentoring future BCBA candidates when the time comes.

This isn’t just a training path. It’s a circle of growth, reciprocity, and rising together.
