I’m Dr. Ashley, a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst with over 15 years of experience in autism support and integrated behavioral health. I opened Juniper Health & Wellness in 2017 to provide compassionate, personalized in-home services that empower families like yours. Whether through autism advocacy, behavior support, or skill development, my goal is to help every family feel confident and supported on their unique journey.
Here, you’ll find a collaborative, supportive approach grounded in honesty, respect for neurodiversity, and evidence-based practices. Together, we can help your child grow, thrive, and celebrate their strengths.
As someone who is autistic and lives with my own colorful blend of ADHD, I bring curiosity, passion, and a fresh perspective to my work. My experiences have shaped how I engage with the world—focused, creative, and deeply committed to what matters most.
I’m not just treating children—I’ve lived it. I know what it feels like to be alone in a room full of people, constantly guessing at what others are thinking or saying. I still face challenges, but I’ve come to know myself. I’ve learned what works for me, where I struggle, and how to use those experiences to grow. Those insights have fueled my journey—from earning ivy league research fellowships and a doctorate to pushing myself toward new achievements in both my personal life and work.
I believe there’s no single "right" way to grow or solve a problem. Neurodiversity isn’t something to fix or change—it’s something to understand and appreciate. With understanding comes connection, growth, and the celebration of each person’s unique journey.
------ With Kindness and Care, Dr. Ashley
My journey with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) began in 2009 as an in-home tutor for a military community. Witnessing the profound impact of progress on a child’s life was a turning point for me. I realized this was more than a career—it was my calling.
I started my academic journey at Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute (SIPI), a tribal college that gave me invaluable support and a strong foundation. In 2014, I earned a Master’s degree in Special Education from Texas Tech University, with a certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis. In 2016, I became a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, specializing in pediatric autism care. With the guidance of many mentors, I founded Juniper Health & Wellness. I went on to complete my Doctorate in Behavioral Health in 2018, focusing my research on environmental conditions that influence clinical behavior. My studies emphasized integrated behavioral healthcare, with the goal of applying this holistic approach to better serve my patients.
Throughout my career, I’ve had the privilege of working with children and adults with autism, adults with brain injuries, and individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health conditions. Each experience has deepened my commitment to helping others thrive in ways that honor their unique strengths and journeys.
In completing my doctoral studies, I focused on Integrated Behavioral Health and primary care conditions. In working with patients, outside of autism, I have applied behavior analysis to assist patients with toilet training, medication adherence programs, encopresis.
