At Juniper Health & Wellness, we believe meaningful work should also build meaningful skills. Our Learning Coaches support children and adolescents through experiential learning, movement, creativity, structured skill building, and individualized support.
Learning Coach Levels
- Learning Coach I (Entry-Level Learning Support): A foundational role focused on learning behavioral principles, child development support, and relationship-based engagement.
- Learning Coach II (Registered Behavior Technician / RBT): Certified RBTs providing individualized ABA-based support under BCBA supervision in structured and community environments, typically supporting those with autism or related conditions. (Required availability: Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM).
- Learning Coach III (Senior Learning Coach / RBT): An experienced team member who demonstrates strong clinical judgment, consistency, leadership, and the ability to mentor newer staff. (Required availability: Monday–Friday, 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM).
Growth Pathway
Learning Coaches are supported through structured training, mentorship, and performance-based advancement. Advancement is based on:

Schedules & Program Hours
Part-time positions ranging from 10–15 hours per week, based on client needs and program offerings:
- Foundations & Discovery Programs: Weekly evening classes with Saturday workshops, community-based experiences, and seasonal enrichment programs.
- Support Services: Monday through Friday (4:00 PM – 7:00 PM, flexible based on case), Saturday mornings (8:00 AM – 12:00 PM), and community-based outings.
Qualifications
Required:
- 18+ years of age
- Ability to pass a 10-year background check
- Reliable transportation for community-based work
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for working with children and adolescents
- Ability to maintain a safe, supportive environment
Preferred:
- Active RBT certification or completion of the 40-hour RBT training
- 6+ months of experience working with children
- CPR / Basic Life Support certification
- Associate degree or coursework in psychology, behavioral health, education, or social sciences

Physical Requirements & Work Settings
- Physical Demands: Active engagement in movement and play-based activities; ability to sit, stand, and transition frequently; participation in community outings; ability to support safe responses during behavioral escalation when needed; occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Work Settings: In-home after-school ABA programs, local community centers, and various locations throughout Central Texas as applicable to skill.
